erfolgreich? Eine interdisziplinäre Analyse.“

Verfasserin: Aleksandra Pantic

Abstract

High- and low-resistance training for patients with knee osteoarthritis

Investigation of clinical effects of high- and low-resistance training for patients with knee osteoarthritis: a randomized controlled trial

Jan et al.

"DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION:

Both high- and low-resistance strength training significantly improved clinical effects in this study. The effects of high-resistance strength training appear to be larger than those of low-resistance strength training for people with mild to moderate knee OA, although the differences between the HR and LR groups were not statistically significant."

Effect of Training Supervision on Effectiveness of Strength Training for Reducing Neck/Shoulder Pain and Headache

Clinical Study / Effect of Training Supervision on Effectiveness of Strength Training for Reducing Neck/Shoulder Pain and Headache in Office Workers: Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

Bibi Gram et al

"Conclusion:

One hour of physical exercise training per week for 20 weeks at the workplace was highly effective to reduce neck pain and headache and the effect was overall independent of the level of supervision. A well-performed introduction and supervision of the exercises only in the beginning of the relatively simple training program was sufficient to achieve pain-relieving effects. Greater flexibility in planning and conducting exercise training at the workplace due to no constraint with supervised training schedules may have advantages both for the employees and for the employer at a lower cost compared to supervised training."

Resistance Exercise in Individuals With and Without Cardiovascular Disease

Pollock et al.

"Both aerobic endurance exercise and resistance training can promote substantial benefits in physical fitness and health-related factors......Although the mechanisms for improvement may be different, both aerobic endurance exercise and resistance training appear to have similar effects on bone mineral density, glucose tolerance, and insulin sensitivity...."
